TEMPUS MODEP Project

Starting from January 2009, Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade named after M.Tugan-Baranovsky has been taking part in the TEMPUS MODEP Project (Modernisation et Developpement de cours Professionnalisés - JP-00408-2008) with the aim to develop international students’ mobility and improve the quality of training process, including partnership with leading European universities.
Studies Abroad
In 1998 DonNUET successfully started to develop a new area of international co-operation, namely regional relationship in the sphere of education (REAP) between higher institutions of Eastern Europe, Middle Asia and Great Britain. This activity is being supervised by the British Council and financed by the Know-How Fund. In November 1998 the University of Hull, UK and DonNUET, Ukraine got approval of their joint bid for initial phase of REAP project: "Formation of Economic Policy: Comparative Approach ".
International Activities
International cooperation is a strategic trend of the contemporary higher educational institution's activity. It is aimed at integration of the University as a whole and its particular divisions into the European and world's educational environment. It promotes the establishment of strategic links with a partner higher educational institutions abroad, as well as provides the opportunity to obtain extra budget finances from funds, programmes and initiatives in the field of education.
