Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade named after Mykhailo Ivanovych Tugan-Baranovsky is one of the leading higher educational establishments in the field of Economics in Ukraine. The University was founded more than 90 years ago. The University follows the best and long-standing traditions of the national system of higher education. The University has the 4th level of accreditation. The University incorporates the Pre-University Training Centre and “Abiturient" Centre to train and support prospective students. The University structure includes the following subdivisions: the Institute of Accounting and Finance, the Institute of Economics and Management, the Institute of Foodstuff Industries, the Faculty of Marketing, Trade and Customs Activities ,the Faculty of Hotel and Restaurant Business, Sevastopol Economic and Technological Faculty, the Institute for Post Diploma Studies, Donetsk College of Technology and Design, training centres in Dokuchaevsk, Kramatorsk, Mariupol and Shakhtyorsk. |
The graduates of technical colleges can enter the University for full-time and part-time stadies.
A qualified teachers’ staff work here. There is a Doctorate with training courses on 12 specializations. Prospective PhD candidates can defend their dissertations within 2 Specialized Academic Councils.
